Your information

Privacy

This page explains what happens to the information you send us through this website. In short: it reaches us as an email, we use it to answer you and plan your project, and we do not sell it or pass it around.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, an email address or a phone number, the town or area you are in, the kind of project you have in mind, your description of it, and any photographs you choose to attach. Nothing is required beyond your name, a way to reach you and a description of the work.

We do not collect anything else. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social-media trackers.

Photographs of your home

You can attach up to six photographs. They travel with your message as email attachments — the website itself does not keep a copy of them. We use them to understand the work, prepare an estimate and plan the sequence of the job.

We will not publish a photograph of your home or your project on this website, in advertising, or anywhere else without asking you first. The photographs already on this site are of past work, used with that understanding.

How your inquiry reaches us

When you send the form, the website hands your message to our email provider over an encrypted connection and it is delivered to our own email account. From that point it sits in our mailbox like any other email from a customer.

Who else sees it

Our email provider handles the message in the course of delivering and storing it, as any email provider does.

Beyond that, we share what you have sent only where it is genuinely needed to plan or price the work — for example, with the licensed or specialized outside professional a project calls for, so that they can quote their part of it. We tell you when that is the case.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Inquiries and their photographs remain in our email as an ordinary record of the work and what was discussed. If you ask us to delete them, we will do so unless they need to be retained for an active project or for legal, tax, insurance, or business‑recordkeeping purposes.

Other things this site loads

The site uses typefaces served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests those font files from Google when a page loads. Nothing else on the site is loaded from a third party.

Spam protection

The contact form includes a hidden field that automated submissions tend to fill in and people never see. That is the whole of it — there is no third-party CAPTCHA service, so nothing about you is sent elsewhere to be checked.

Asking us about your information

You are welcome to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it on the terms above. We are a small, owner-led company, so the question comes straight to the person who can answer it. Call (607) 603-7725 or email atwoodcontracting@gmail.com.

Changes to this page

If the way we handle submitted information changes, we will update this page rather than notify you individually.

Tell us what you are considering. If you would rather not use the form, a call works just as well.
